Ludmila Naves was born in Vila Esperança, east of São Paulo. Graduate of Audiovisual from USP. There, she wrote and directed a sci-fi pilot called "Snatchers"; selected for the FITV Competitive Pilot Festival. She attended the Professional Program for TV in writing at the University of California (UCLA) in 2019. At the same year, she was selected by the Women in Film Los Angeles Mentoring Program, in the "Writers and Showrunners" circle. She worked as a TV writer for shows such as "Juacas" (Disney), "Sem Volta" (Record), "Gaby Estrella" (Gloob), "Brainiacs" (Globoplay), "Urban Terror" (Record). For Netflix, she wrote the sci-fi "Omniscient" and the fantasy-thriller "Invisible City". For Globoplay, she wrote "We are Five" and the awarded true crime "The Evandro Case: A Devilish Plot". She's also developed the podcast "Crime and Punishment" for Radio Novelo. In 2022, Ludmila received the Paradiso and Abra Award for Writer of the Year. Currently, she's developing projects as a director.
