Diogo Leite is a director and screenwriter. He graduated in journalism and then studied cinema at the Escola Livre de Cinema e Vídeo de Santo André (ECLV), dramaturgy at SP Escola de Teatro, and scriptwriting at Roteiraria. Diogo has directed two short films: “Menino Pássaro” (2018) and “Você Tem Olhos Tristes” (2020), both awarded by Festival de Gramado. He co-wrote the television series “PCC - Força Secreta” (Boutique/HBO Max) and the reality show “LOL Brasil” (Formata/Amazon). Diogo’s screenplay for the feature film “Triste Maravilhoso” was selected by Laboratório Cena 15-Porto Iracema das Artes and will be part of BAL-LAB during the 2022 Festival de Biarritz Amérique Latine. His first feature film, “Monstro”, is currently being edited.
Diogo was awarded a fellowship to attend the BAL-LAB 2022, to develop his feature film "Triste Maravilhoso".
